The challenge

Small volumes, zero tolerance for error.

Healthcare waste is not one stream. Sharps and infectious material, expired and cytotoxic pharmaceuticals, laboratory reagents and fixatives, mercury from legacy devices, pressurised cartridges and radioactive residues from nuclear medicine each carry a different hazard and a different legal route.

Volumes per site are modest, which is exactly why they get consolidated badly. Magma takes the hazardous fraction as a single scheduled service: segregated at source, collected in compliant packaging, treated at our licensed plants, and closed out with a disposal record for every consignment.

Treatment Routes

Where your waste is treated

The clinical and chemical fraction goes to BeAAT. Radioactive residues are reviewed for our NORM plant under the same contract.
 

One first facility is dedicated to the recycling, processing and safe disposal of hazardous waste - designed to treat liquid, sludge and solid waste generated by ADNOC and other industries across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
A one-of-a-kind plant specialising in the treatment, processing and disposal of waste containing radioactive elements - focused on naturally occurring sludge from ADNOC`s onshore and offshore drilling operations.

How we work with healthcare providers

From bin to certificate of disposal.

Segregation

Bin configuration, colour coding, labelling and staff briefing so streams stay apart at the point of generation.

Scheduled collection

Fixed-frequency pickups in compliant packaging, manifested per consignment, with cold storage where required.

Treatment

Processing or final destruction at our licensed plants, with witnessed destruction available for controlled product.

Traceability

Documented chain of custody and a disposal record per consignment for your HSE, accreditation and regulatory reporting.
