Magma was established in 2023 through the first full privatisation of an ADNOC asset. That makes it unusual: the plants are mature and highly regulated, while the organisation around them is still being designed. People who join now shape how it runs rather than inherit a finished system.

Behind the local team sits Veolia's global technical network and the backing of Tadweer Group and Vision Invest — so the engineering knowledge is deep, but the decisions are made here, in Abu Dhabi, close to the plant.
